Great Santa Fe Quesadilla Maker Recipes
I would like to share a couple of my
favorite recipes with you. I broke down and bought the
Santa Fe
Quesadilla Maker and
have not looked back since. There are thousands of
recipes out there; these are just a few I made up and my
family absolutely loves them. I am sure your family will
love them too. They are very easy and quick to
make.

If you use oil,
spread it around on the maker. I usually use non stick
spray, any kind will do.
Lay one 10 inch
tortilla onto the maker.
Spread a
tablespoon, more or less onto the
tortilla.
Cover it with
another tortilla.
Close the lid of
the Santa Fe Quesadilla maker and cook for about three to
five minutes.
You may cook them
as long as you like, making them browner and crispier the
longer you cook them.
Turn them out onto
a pretty, colorful platter.
I serve these with good cold Mexican beer and
a salad.
Banana
Quesadillas
I suppose this has to be my daughter’s
favorite in the entire world. It is so simple to make. She will
come home from school and make one. These are also great for
the grandkids. They love to watch and sometimes they will help.
Be very careful as the quesadillas are extremely hot. Never
leave little ones unattended around the Santa Fe Quesadilla
maker.
2 10 inch flour
tortillas
1 teaspoon of
peanut butter
½ of a banana,
sliced thin
Non stick spray if
needed
A pinch of both cinnamon and
ginger
Heat your
quesadilla maker, usually medium. You really do not want
these to be to crispy.
Mix the peanut
butter and cinnamon together.
Spray the
quesadilla maker with non stick spray if need
be.
Lay one tortilla
on the plate.
Spread the peanut
butter and cinnamon mixture onto the tortilla. Leave
about a fifth of an inch on the outside, so it will not
squeeze out.
Layer the banana
slices around. Kind of push them down into the peanut
butter.
Put the second tortilla on top and lower the
lid. Cook to your liking.
My daughter usually gets a cold glass of milk
and goes and watches
television.
I really do enjoy my Santa Fe Quesadilla
maker. It has been a good investment. Some people will use corn
tortillas; I have not tried those yet.
I hope you try
these recipes. They are a standard in my family. Check
out websites for more wonderful recipes, they are out
there. Let your imagination feed you!
